Our Guides and Porters

Kilimanjaro Climbing Company employs a small team of highly experienced and dedicated guides. These men have worked with Deo for many years on Kilimanjaro. All senior guides have Advanced Wilderness First Responder Training and have the necessary experience and knowledge to deal with any eventuality on the mountain. We understand that the success of a climb often depends on the tireless efforts of our porters. Unlike many companies, we try to employ the same porters time after time. These hardworking and trusted men are happy to keep coming back to us as our company has a reputation for fair treatment and above average salary and conditions.
